We obtain information about you when you apply to become a member of the club.

The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, telephone number, and British Model Flying Association (BMFA) membership number.

If you pay your BMFA membership to us, we act as agent for the BMFA and have a contractual obligation to pass to them your personal information and relevant payment.

How long do we retain your information?
We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary to carry out our obligations in relation to your membership, or as long as is set out in any relevant agreement between us. Where your club membership lapses, your information will be securely kept for a period of two years, after which your information will be deleted.
Who has access to your information?
Only authorised individuals and officers of the club have access to the data.
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.
We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties unless we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.
